Recipes: Toffee Ice Cream with pear and ginger
Ingredients:
- Toffee ice cream
- Tinned pear halves in fruit juice
- Honey
- Ground ginger
- Crushed ginger nuts
Cut the pear halves in half and grill until slightly browned.
Make the sauce by pouring the juice from the pears into a sauce pan add a dessert spoon of honey
and a pinch of ground ginger and cook until it forms a syrup.
Arrange the pear quarters on a plate; put a scoop of toffee ice cream on top, pour
over the sauce and sprinkle on the crushed ginger nut biscuits.
