Recipes: Ice Cream Birthday Cake
Ingredients:
- Between 2 and 6 pint bricks of ice cream depending on the number of people.
- Chocolate sauce or icing for writing.
- Any combination of sweets, Smarties, Chocolate Buttons, Maltesers for decoration.
- Fruits; slices of strawberry, apples, banana, mandarin segments or whole raspberries for decoration.
Remove the packaging from the ice cream and place the pint bricks onto a plate or tray, which can fit into the freezer.
Smooth over the joints between the bricks with a warmed palate knife.
Decorate using fruit, smarties, chocolate buttons, chocolate fingers, etc.
Write, 'Happy Birthday...' with coloured icing or smarties or chocolate buttons.
Cover the top with chocolate sauce and decorate with fruit or sweets.
